Morgan Stanley and Wachovia Corp. are in talks about a possible combination as the investment bank tries to come up with ways to survive the ongoing credit crisis, according to media reports.
What possible reason would Wachovia have to merge with Morgan Stanley? Didn't Wachovia just raise some cash to stave off the crisis-do they want to throw it away? Appears to me to be more corporate greed in the face of the greatest fleese that the American and other county investors have ever faced. These guys are rubbing their hands over what they think is a good deal and can line their pockets when their conpanies are collapsing. Not enough jails to hold all the crooks!
