Keep in mind folks that Monsanto was the BP of yesteryear having destroyed most of the Midwest with PCBs, Dioxin and other highly toxic chemicals then the smooth smooth criminals that they are moved all those claims over to their new company Solutia. Of course Solutia was underfunded and bankrupted in short order so as to never pay out any claims. Now Monsanto is doing the same thing with their killer crops. One by one they knock down independent farmers by claiming the farmer planted their crops with our licensing from Monsanto when Monsanto knows it's because the pollen from one of their stooges farms blew on the farmer's crops.

BTW - Monsanto are the lovers of mankind that gave us Agent Orange which is still poisoning and causing birth defects to this day! Monsanto is a global pariah, the sooner it and its dupes are wiped from the Earth, the sooner will can clean up their corporate mess! GET THE FACTS! MONSANTO IS A MONSTER!

I completely agree with 'Agent Orange's comment.

On the other hand,'Ed Golterman', you really do not understand that this is one of the worst companies in the US. They might be bringing "more jobs" to Chesterfield, but at the same time, they are killing Americans.

Our soils are being impoverished causing our food to contain little nutrients. We might as well be eating the dirt our "food" is grown in!

Stay as far away from GMO foods and do your research to know where your food is being grown!

The World According to Monsanto:

Where yes Monsanto was ONE of the manufacturers of agent orange. It was designed as a kill all herbicide. Monsanto used to have its hands in ALOT of chemical industry. They'er moving away from that industry. Roundup is one of the only chemical things they produce. They are heavily focused on Agriculture.

We need to face reality. The human population continues to grow and there is not enough food to sustain us. They are making crops produce more and more nutritious crops. In Drought ridden areas of the world they have implemented drought resistant crops that can thrive and feed the people.

In recent years cotton crops have been ravished by insects and plant diseases and Monsanto research is trying to make those plants more resistant.

Sure the insects that live off of those plants might not have another food source.

Humans or the bugs? I guess the real question is how messing the the natural balance of things will effect the worlds ecosystem in the long run? Will it be a constant battle for researchers to constantly overcome new famines? Will the world evolve so that affected insects and animals find other source of food.

All I know is that Monsanto is trying towards sustainability.

Have first hand knowledge of Agent Orange and it's effects on the Environment and People, I being one of them. The Government won a big lawsuit against them and other Manufacturers of Agent Orange back in the early 90's. The presence of the defoliant is still strong in South Vietnam and has caused multiple health problems with a lot of Military that served during that time. Hopefully there are better controls on Chemicals since then.
