So I have a choice whether or not to put these "hormones" in my body and my child's body - right? And if I CHOOSE to avoid growth hormones - shouldn't I need to be informed which products have them and which ones don't?

It's all well and good to say these products are "safe" - but really - do we KNOW what effect putting this stuff into our kids bodies will have 10 years down the road?

Ok, so I have a CHOICE when it comes to putting these growth hormones in my body and my child's body - right?
If I CHOOSE not to want to expose my family to them...then I should be INFORMED as to which products have them and which ones don't - right?
Of course they are saying these growth hormones are "safe" but really... do we KNOW the effect this stuff will have on our kids in say... 10 years?

I suppose it's inevitable that corporate food "creators" will contest labeling. For example, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before "organic" becomes "legally diluted"... and then we'll need to come up with levels of "organic" (really damn organic, sort of organic, somewhat organic, unknown, etc...). Or how about HFCS? They're already referring to it differently... I've seen "fructose sugars", "sucrose/fructose", etc...
Silly, IMHO. Please feel free to sell your product and make a buck, but just be honest... is that so tough?!?!
