I believe that Monsanto's success with genetically engineered seeds depends largely on an uninformed public. As consumers learn about the potential health-safety dangers of GMO's, then the increased demand for organic crops will create significant, negative pressure on the market for genetically engineered seeds. They will go the way of Prosilac (rBGH/rBST).
