Blumenthal is a chuckle-headed glory hound who would nuke Connecticut's business and industry into the stone-age if he thought it would win him ten minutes of air-time.
Now, the political hacks whose fannies warm our Supreme Court bench have decided that The Skull can sue for damages to the state's general economy. It's a wild and crazy theory with any number of potentially bizarre outcomes. Just how anyone could demonstrate how Connecticut's economy would be different today had Marsh not misbehaved should be most interesting.

Actually if he goes forward with this, can I as a taxpayer and employee in this state sue him for what he has done to this economy?

Marsh was investigated by multiple AGs, outside lawfirms, clients etc... The handful of bad apples were arrested, with most charges being dropped. Marsh paid out 850 million. That amount had nothing to do with anything. It was an arbitrary number Spitzer came up with. I repeat it had nothing to do with the harm caused to a handful of clients.

Oh lets not forget that the the contingent commissions brokers collected, WERE NOT AND ARE NOT illegal. Clients knew about them, state insurance commissioners knew about them, RIMS an insured organization knew and approved of them. ALL insurance brokers accept some type of contingent. Even the small mom and pop shops. Ask your agent or broker.

Blumen-joke is just looking for headlines. Same as Spitzer and look where that got him.
