I grew up in fountain nc. My hometown has been devastated by the constant blasting by Martin Marietta and the industry is literally ruining the town. The blasts are so strong, there are wide cracks in the walls and falling plaster in my former home place. Any reasonably intelligent human being would only have to experience 1 of the earth shattering blasts to see that this is destructive to the buildings in this town. Furthermore, this quarry has continued to deny the damages and brings in it's on paid testers to try to convince the poor residents that these blasts are not excessive. This is an abomination that needs to cease, and real engineers and testers need to access the situation, not paid Martin Marietta employees. This corporate entity is destroying what used to be a thriving town and something needs to be done!
