Change is on the agenda. There's no doubt. And labour has an important
role to play. This Labour Day, it's important that unions recommit
themselves to being the vehicle for this change - moving it beyond
rhetoric and making it a reality for Canadians.

They can kiss their jobs goodbye in some yrs. down the road.
I used to work for Honda. Never no layoffs, just a company that keeps expanding in Alliston Ont and anywhere else.
Sure, probs in the auto industry(domestic brands) is more than a union fault....there's bad trade deals or a management that keeps designing products no one is buying or quality issues etc..But these workers will slit their own throats....work something out but keep the unions out, it's just a bunch of loud mouth political drunks making a whole lot of money.
