Authorities say a US Airways regional jet has landed safely at San Antonio International Airport after blowing a tire during takeoff and circling for an hour to burn off fuel.

Does this mean we"re gonna be late? I don"t think I"m gonna be legal after flying 125 continuous hours!Boy I sure need a nap. Maybe those Delta guys that overflew MSP could give me some pointers. Any suggestions?

I remember delaying a flight for a tire change and the passengers were pissed because the FO spotted the bad tire on his pre-departure walk around. I've heard pax saying oh that's BS! Now, they see what happens when balding tires are deferred.
