Well I've been at McDonalds for about 3 years now and its been okay and now Im a Shift Assistant so pretty much a Managers Assitant.

People complain all the time and yeah its annoying but you dont know is that when you complain to the people at the front its not their fault its the peoples who are cooking at the back its their fault so lay off them, Ive seen so many times when I am training a new person on front counter and a customer comes back and blows there head off at the trainee the better thing to do is think for a second and get the manager. Over the last three years I've had abour 6 people leave because a customer has come back spittin shit at a trainee when its not their fault also there a bloody trainee so of course they are going to make mistakes.

People talkig about hiring illegal people that doesn't happen at the four stores i work at.(all on the Gold Coast / Australia) Yeah we have a quite a few young ones and yeah they are fucking smart aseses I know that I wish we didnt have to hire em.

What else is annoying oh yeah when customers come in and they get to the front of the line and they still dont know what they want they have atleast 3 minutes on a busy day to decide so stop hogging up the bloody counter cause other people want to order then they get pissed off for waiting so make your bloody mind up at the back off the line not at the front.

Oh yeah ive had ups and downs at maccas, all I can say it is okay for a first job but dont fucking stay there for too long cause its shit

You've made it up to Shift Assistant and you treat our customers like this? Sounds like it's time for you to get fired.

The fact that you feel this way about your job and the store that has done so much for you shows that you're not treating our customers properly. Who knows what shortcuts you've taken? You have already downgraded the store and its culture, so just leave and find another job - McDonald's is obviously too good for you.

Oh, bollocks...you've got the deductive skills of a potted plant. People are allowed to dislike elements of their jobs...if you don't, good for you, but you're an unintelligent gut-bag if you think that his griping about work is grounds for firing him.

It is. You certainly don't bad-talk your employer or complain about the job publicly on the internet through a forum. If you don't like the job, you'd complain to the Restaurant Manager about quitting. Either be dedicated or get out.

Neither do you "bad-talk" a customer who takes the time to post about an unsatisfactory visit to one of our restaurants. If "bad-talk" about your employer isn't grounds for dismissal, your comment towards this customer on a public forum certainly is.

Oh, please...you're the drooling poster-boy for what employees shouldn't do on a public forum. "Being dedicated" doesn't mean being a mindless slave; if you can't get your boss's dick out of your mouth long enough to take a breath, that doesn't mean the rest of us need to follow your dumb-as-nails example.
