When we were just 8 yrs old we became friends. There was an instant rapport --one that had grown to become a cherished friendship. We lost touch for a few years, as I moved to the west coast. From time to time I would receive a card or a letter from Debbie which was always heartfelt. No matter the miles that separated us...when we talked we always giggled like we did at the tender age of 8. I had just moved back to the east coast recently, and feel blessed to have spent the last few months of her life close by, after being separated for 20 yrs. I have truly lost the dearest friend my heart has ever known.
My prayers are with her family.
