Your article is a little offbase, probably to a lack of reasearch by the reporter, not all of the work at Labor Ready is on a "first-come, first served basis", many of the regular workers are on repeat work tickets, and the reason for the early hour is that most of the jobs dispatched out of that office start between 6 and 7 AM, also most of the workers do not have their own transportation, so that is an issue....maybe a little extra interviewing by the "reporter", would have brought that fact out. But, that is one reason why the Daily Record is what it is, a 2nd rate newspaper.
