lowes to do away with LPM salary position

Lowes will down grade the LPMs to a dept. Mgr position working a 40 plus 8 overtime hours a week with a 18.5% pay decrease. What the Hell is going on with Lowes????

18.5% seems a bit steep. Going from an ASM to Dept Mgr is only a 10% pay cut.
Makes sense though with the elimination of cycle counts at most stores. Why do you need an LPM when you have an ALPM and LPS position.

Great move if true!

All I have to say about the LPM change is, BOHICA!!!!!
Remember the "change" in 2004!! That didn't go so well either!!!!!

Lowes is running this company into the ground. Our executives keep getting richer and the workers keep losing money. I hope there is a special place in hell for people like Niblock and verville. I can only hope they get butt slammed by Hitler for all of eternity.

Lowes sucks!!! I was a lp couple of years ago there it's very hard babysitting zone managers who make 3x more than you and steal refrigerators on the side. Now they are cutting the balls of lpms making them dept Mgrs when they have the responsibility of operations managers. I hate them. F u Claude verville!

"LPM" = Loss prevention MANAGER, they were always dept. managers.
Yes, they do have a lot of responsibility, but not necessarily more than any other dept. manager. I think the telling statement in the post
"I WAS a lp" what happened?

Iv been an LPM for years and AM SUING THE FUCKBAGS look up the flsa law.. or dont

*the burden of the hours worked is on them.. The only "record" of hours is the 48hr schedule

* we do not supervise anyone
*we do not hire, fire
*lps's report to the alpm, just like us
say you were paid "sailery" of 45k =$21.63hr
=32.44 hr per ot =$259.52 week=$13495
Not to mention missed 401k contibutions.

Ummmmm...you're kind of scary! Glad you're not my LPM! Good Luck with suing Lowe's...I doubt you have a case!
