I Along with a lot fellow lowes employee's feel fear now during this time of year. What does the corporate office have in mind for change. Will people be eliminated like last year? Will we have changes for 2012 in store management structure? A lot of uncertainty and fear across the company but I myself hope and pray that my fellow employee's across the country will continue to have employment for as long as they wish to be with the company.

Every employer is making changes around the beginning of fiscal years, so it's not just us. Target has something every year called "AE12" or 13 etc. it stands for achieving excellence, but really means "this is how we're going to reduce payroll by another x %." Every year it was something like the elimination of specialists, reduction of team leaders to cover multiple departments, then reducing team leaders even more, combining pricing and their version of the PSA team, and on and on. You're never safe anywhere 100%. That's why saving for a rainy day is so important.
