Sometimes. Depends on how you put the 2 weeks in. I hope your screen name is your actual name by coincidense because i find no humor in it. Now if you put john holmes that would be hilarious.

If you have a position in senior management they usually terminate you right away. I had a zone manager that put in his two week notice, he was told to go right away.

My ASM put in his two weeks last month. The next day when he came in he was pulled to HR and told that he had two weeks of vacation and he was gone. So I guess it depends on your position.

If your in managment, they would cut you loose early so you dont print off proprrietary information and go somewhere else with it.

As far as printing sensitive information, i have had co workers seperate voluntarily at multiple locations without that being an issue. It depends on what relationship you have with the company at that time. Unless you pose a threat then it wouldnt be a problem. If it is a company document tha does not reflect your work most other employers would rather not see it. If it is contact info for leads most salesmen would already have that in some form or another.

2 weeks are not accepted from senior mgrs. it's to be accepted from everyone else in most situations. Up to the SM. I always accepted it from everyone except senior mgrs.

I can't see that much being "sensitive" other than hr files and employee ssn's.

Much of what the company does is kinda public. Any install usually involves a permit process and that creates a record with the local government. Any retail sale usually has sales taxes which are required to be tracked as it varies by town, county and state. Now if you print out someone elses sales that would be going overboard. I don't see anything wrong with printing out a LLC transcript for what it is worth.

If someone was going to print sensitive material they would do it before they gave their notice. If they get a new job it has been in the works for awhile and would of taken what they wanted...it is a joke to send them home immediately just because they might print/take some material.

They're not afraid of senior managers printing proprietary info. It's about accountability. If it was your business, would you want to leave someone in charge that you couldn't hold accountable? I doubt it. It's hard to hold someone accountable for your store's standards when they have no fear of being fired or put on a corrective action.

Dont worry james its topically funny. Look at the inner city crime rates that dont get reported by the mainstream media. The monkeys r killn each other by the dozen.

It depends on the person. Your comment shows little trust in your management. I quit a job for another one and my boss ask me to stay a month. I did and there wasn't a problem. We have some managers in our store that when the SM is gone they are gone for several hours, come late or leave early. They don't do that when he is there. Trust is earned--every day and you have some who are very trustworthy and others that aren't...one needs to know their people.

My statement had nothing to do with my personal opinion. I was only explaining why blanket policies like this exist.
