Someone should check and see whom Public Citizen is actually representing - what new pain product is coming out that you are trying to pave the way to - who is paying your bills to do this!

I had a kidney stone one time and took Demerol. Sad thing is its mostly poor ignorant crackheads who mess up good pain medicine for people who are in pain. If you take pain medicine correctly it helps you. Anybody ever experienced a kidney stone knows you don't care if you die as long as the pain stops.

That's what you should have been given for a kidney stone! Injectable and then tablet form. That is basic pain relief for kidney stones.

Look at the Reported Vote of the FDA Advisory Board; 14 to 12. If Propoxyphene is such a deadly killer and the evidence was so overwhelming why wasn't the vote 26 to 0. I say poppycock! Or, are we to assume that the 12 who didn't vote Yes, were in the pockets of Big Pharma. You draw your own conclusions. I say, not a very conclusive vote for withdrawing a medication from probably millions of people who use it for moderate pain.
