It's sad that Byetta has been linked with increased pancreatic cancer risk. Diabetes is a common disease and one of the most problematic. Proper testing should have been done with these types of medication especially in light of the potential use and harm this medication could have for people who suffered from diabetes. These studies have been confirmed of a definite association between the anti-diabetic drug Byetta and an increased risk for thyroid and pancreatic cancer in patients taking the medication over long periods of time. This has led to drug-safety authorities advocating a change in Byetta's warning labels, as well as, patients filing suit with Amylin Pharmaceuticals. It has also been shown in clinical trials that patients who took Victoza demonstrated a greater risk of developing acute pancreatitis than those who were prescribed with other diabetes drugs. No surprise here. Its a criminal industry that does shoddy safety studies or none at all. Government approves and protects them. Ever hear about a Pharma employee or owner doing prison time for these mass murders and criminal assaults? Ever hear of law enforcement investigating them?
