Kind of wish they had broken out the figures for Long Beach. About to toss my condo into the fray and am curious to see how the city is doing.

So this "happy talk" is supposed to convince all of us that the worst ever Depression since '29 is over?
Maybe for the fatcats at the top but not for the middle class on the front line.
I am sick and tired of trickle down economics because all I am feeling is a warm yellow liquid raining upon my head.

I can tell you, banks are finally letting houses on the market AND they're getting down with deep discounting to turn the product out. This means we're going to have a nice price dip going all the way into April, with great deals to be had by people who can pay cash. For sellers, it's going to be ugly until summer, with banks letting properties go for significant "discounts" that will undermine legitimate sellers trying to sell their houses/condos next door.
If you try to sell before summer, you'll either sell at a deep discount, or it's just going to sit there, because banks will be dropping neighborhood property values all over the place. Good time to have a home reassessed for property taxes would be in April, btw.
Hope this helps.
