I'm very grateful to Governor Scwarzenegger for signing SB 428, which not only saves the La Jolla rookery, but also prevents the outrageous waste of thousands
By signing SB428 today, the Governor shows he really practices what he preaches,
and has prevented the waste of thousands if not million of dollars for an absurd
and illegal ruling.

i think the seals should stay! Who would want their kid to swim there anyways. Its dangerous and the waves are too crazy, even with the wall i think its a bad idea for anybody to swim around the cove. The cove should be a place for sea animals. Most people go there during low tide to look at the sea creatures. And they go to see the seals. its sad that people are chasing them away. it is a chance to see wildlife in its natural habitat. I mean there is nothing cooler then that. WAYYY better then a zoo or Sea World. SEALS SHOULD STAY!
