Nope. Some of us were smart enough to do our returns two days ago.

Okay....I'm still in the dark. I won't know anything until I go in this evening. What about gift cards, are we still accepting them as a form of payment?

My understanding is as of today LNT is taking Cash, Credit Cards, Gift Cards, Mechandise Cards. They are NOT taking LNT coupons, Competitor Coupons, NT credit cards or checks.

Well, I'm finally in the know. Had to work on my days off...that's okay, getting extra cash while I can. Ya, no coupons at all, no LNT credit card, no personal checks, all sales are final, you can only return an item if you receipt is dated 8/15/08 to 10/15/08, before that you keep it, no recepit you keep it, after that you keep it.

What about our earned vacation time? Anybody know what we can do with that? Do we even get it?

So since they are bankrupt what about the credit card. Will they stop accepting payments and the card gets canceled?????

They won't take their own credit cards any more, only gift cards.

The craziest thing about it is that right now all kitchen stuff is 20% off. I stopped by today and that is the dept most being emptied out. These people could have been getting 40% off right along if they really needed or wanted the stuff. They are paying more for the stuff then they would have before.

I bought two Sharper Image Air Sanitizers from Linen and Things two days ago and after researching the products I found out that it produces ozone in the air and is not that effective in cleaning the air. I don't want my money back I just want something else in return because the product I purchased doesn't benefit my sister that has asthma. I was even excited when I purchased them that I bought two and now I'm stuck with two worthless products and I'm out $260.00.

They have no problem selling you broken things. I wouldn't buy anything at all from them since they are not supporting their products. At the very least wait until the prices are bargain basement. We bought something that was broken and they would not exchange. Even stores going out of business have a responsibility to take care of their customers.

I have about $200 in gift cards from this store, and online it says gift cards are no longer accepted. How am I supposed to get my money back?

I also have about $100 their gift card. So, there is no way I can get my money back? That is really unfair.
Anybody, any idea can help?
Thanks!

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Leo

If you're worried about running up big debts in what is usually one of the most expensive months of the year, start keeping a running total of how much money you've spent so far. You might have to restrict the amount you spend on Christmas presents, or make other savings in order to stay within your budget, but you realize the folly of ending up severely out of pocket.
