Whats going on here? is this forum for talking about our co-workers, badly ,so they can feel bad in reading what u have put here on this forum,,what kinda people r u? people that talk about others ,,without saying anything good,have a very shallow mind,why so much negativity,we need positive enforcement at IAC, teamwork,we all come together and work with eachother in a non-hateful way,and we change IAC to a better workplace!! we the people,make IAC what it is,quit backstabbing and get some better conversations on this forum, or get off! No-one wants to hear about all this he say , she say stuff, boring as h..lets get some good ideas in mothin, on the moral at IAC!!!!!!

Isnt' it ironic that NO ONE ever had a problem with Tracy until the former chair and her boyfriend, a former steward, had a few words and resigned from the position? Isn't it ironic how her boyfriend is now the chairman? Isn't it ironic that SOME PEOPLE want to hate on her and her boyfriend because they think they KNOW all about them? Isn't it ironic that you all are completely WRONG about them? Wouldn't it be ironic if you just removed a few people and their followers from the equation that most of this mud slinging would not even be taking place? I could go on and on, IRONIC huh? Thank you for your good Q & A. IT is a shame that the main concerns of our fellow workers are only their problems with somebody else. They don't seem concerned with the solutions and resolve. Whether we like it or not we are the people and we are supposed to be rational thinking, hard working, responsible adults.I truly hope the people treating people badly on here don't set the same example for their own children and families. THANK YOU ONE GOOD COMMENT!

You all should post something good about your job and what you like about it. Then see how much we all have in common. I love the job I do and the ladies and gentleman that I work with. None of us are perfect and we do not always agree but we are all friends, I hope, and tomorrow is always a new day and yesterday is past. I am thankful to have a job during this turmoil that our industry and country are in.

This forum is getting better thann the Sunday comics..LMFAO...it's funny how many people actually think our plant is going somewhere...you must be listening in the meetings to "potential new business coming in" instead of what is going out meaning GONE.....maybe with this post people will lay off Judy...I like the attention...lol and btw remember we still have two more years of no raises whether new business comes in or not..thanks you yes voters....and please if you add anything telling me to quit is old as the vaseline jar we got what about three years ago...

Well since everyone like to vent on here, let me put out some of it. Its just my personal feelings (okay and maybe a lot others) if you don't like it oh well, we all have a right to our own opinion. First of all I thought we worked in a factory not the romper room, where people are able to do as they please and conduct inappropriate horseplay. Don't get me wrong I am all for having fun but some of these things are way over the line. To see people groping and touching on each other is not what I want to see at work. Sticking your fingers in people holes in the pants and grinding on them is not work behavior. In then to have a superintendent involved in the mess takes it to a different level. If you have a personal involvement with the workers that's your business not ours, please don't make it known. And for the union steward to refuse to do his job and file grievances on supervisors and superintendents because he has a personal bond with them is ridiculous DO YOUR JOB!!! And for workers to fear going to a committee member because they don't want certain ones putting your name out there from a personal confidential conversation, so where do you go?? I am sure some of the above people read this so tell me what is a person to do???

Well its a shame you have to feel this way there are a few good stewards some of them may have quit already while others get the run around but as one running for steward let me say I am willing if elected to help out others in different areas if they feel they can't trust their steward...remember though its all up to you ...wow I sound like a politician..lmao oh well

Franco....I, for one, will be voting for you. Maybe, just maybe, you have enough balls to work for the people, instead of PORTER! I hope when you get elected you and the few good stewards we have will not become IAC management like the rest of them have done. I have heard from several people that there is a petition going around demanding that Porter, and some of his buddies resign for not doing their jobs and being more company than union. If anyone knows about this then please comment so I can sign it as well as a lot of other folks. Not giving my name cause I dont want him coming after me like he does with others who speak up, just give me a name of someone to contact. Also, he is running for a position at the Local that pays $750.00 a month in addition to his over paid ET pay for sitting on his ass. Do we really want that? Vote for Jimmy Geren for President and Barb Wesley for Financial Secretary when it's time.

The finacial secretary position at the local, along with every other position was open to any union member to run for. It semms that only 2 had the guts to run and now you all want to critisize him for running? I dont care if there are people who dont want him in office (or his buddies) that is the peoples decision too. I personally dont care what ahppens because if he is out there will be someone else to hate and critisize to replace him. Freind or foe...it will happen.

There are good stewards in our plant. But there are those of you that make it easy for them to do their job. While others of you do everything in your power to do nothing more than make their time at work miserable. Do you really think that enjoy the way that their reputation as a person is down graded by people because Jason is their chairman? He is not their boss and neither are you. People should see that they are not responsible for the decisions that are handed down and are not to blame. Everyone should take a little time and read the contact and maybe you would understand some of the problems and where they fall into the equation and how you veiw what we the people voted for. Stop putting the blame where it dont belong. Frano good luck if you are elected i know you will do your best to represent people.

Once was enough for Porter and his crew, I won't do it again! The previous commentor said we don't know what the inner workings are and they are probably right, but what I do see on a daily basis is this....If you are a Steward, you get special treatment, and the committee is treated as if the are untouchable by management. Just for example, the other day a Steward took out a water line in injection molding with his forklift, and guess what, he's still driving and nothing is being done. Good for him, but why isn't EVERY one treated the same way? Are these people running for an office in our plant to represent us, or are they thinking they can keep their jobs safe by being a rep? I will vote for Franco and see if he can put all his talk into something postive, its worth a chance. By the way Franco, Porter is saying that if you get elected, you won't last a week!

U guys never cared before what the financial secretary made and now all of a sudden everyone cares, it does not matter who gets any of the positions, you people will never be happy.

Just remember as a union steward, if you are voted in, has to follow certain rules and also has to work with the committee on things whether you like them or not
