Lithia Motors would squeeze their own mother out of money if it meant they could make a buck off the deal. I will never buy from them again.

I spent 6 months with them after they acquired the store I used to work at. I learned alot from them-primarily how NOT to do business.
Their mentality is to allow the customer to spend as much money as they want at the dealership. If somebody's shrewd, they can get a fair deal thru a Lithia store - just plan on spending half a day or better to get it done. If they're not........
Since I've left, they've now went to a 3 day money back guarantee and no hassle pricing. I'd like to believe they've had a change in heart but I just don't see how you can change a corporate culture overnight. They can still low-ball trade ins.
Their processes are insane. Most of it is due to the size of the company and the big red target on their backs to potential litigation. A simple cash deal can take 60-90 minutes in the finance office.(assuming no one is ahead of you in line. I've purchased 6 houses and I can honestly say that the amount of paperwork for the six deals combined is comparable to that of a cash deal at a Lithia store.
