It's true, Oscar Mayer is the best. Ball Park and all others are simply weiner immitators.

Give me Vienna Beef, or don't give me hot dogs.

I try my very best to avoid hot dogs that aren't kosher.

For me, Hebrew National is the go-to brand. Extremely juicy, great flavor, but not too strong to overwhelm your toppings. They do well Chicago style, and also do very well with nothing but mustard and maybe some onions or relish.

Everybody knows that Vienna makes the best hot dog. No contest.

It was an advertising campaign. False, but none the less an advertising bit.

As for hot dogs, the best ones are very high in fat and calories so I rarely eat them, but when I do, Hebrew National is the best.

Out of the two, Ball Park is definitely best.

Have you ever tried the Boar's Head brand hot dogs? They are all good. The all beef franks taste even better than Hebrew National and they also have light beef franks that are half the fat, no fillers, and taste really good!

Ball Park or Oscar Meyer? Good grief, they both are the bottom of the barrel of good taste and value...let alone nutrition.

Go to whole foods and get organic. These dogs are basically well made of dogs.

Eat Ball Park hotdogs and ... die.

"CHICAGO, March 2 (UPI)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the death toll from contaminated hot dogs and deli meats made by Sara Lee Corp.'s Bil Mar Foods has risen to 14 adults and six miscarriages.

The federal agency also links 97 illnesses to the Listeria outbreak, which was traced to a Bil Mar plant in Zeeland, Mich. "

"Sara Lee pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts in connection with a listeriosis outbreak that led to the deaths of at least 21 consumers who ate Ball Park Franks hot dogs and other meat products. One hundred people were seriously injured. The company paid a $200,000 fine. "

... And that's less than $ten thousand per life.

Yes, that was nine years ago. And I haven't knowingly eaten any Sara Lee brand products since.

Why would anyone?

So i assume you also don't drive cars, fly on commercial airlines or leave your house... since all have proven fatal to thousands of people.

David Berg used to be the best dog, hands down. Unfortunately, they were purchased by Vienna, who promptly discontinued the product. I guess Vienna couldn't justify having an offshoot product that was better than their core brand......
