Salt is some thing you learn to like. Everyone should cut back on it. Try using herbs, and spices in place of it.

I stopped using salt about 12 years ago when I found out that I have high blood pressure. It helps not to add when cooking and eating. I never put the salt shaker out unless requested.
Everyone is responsible for their own health.I am happy to hear that finally, something is being done about it.
Have a great day

You're right. Salt makes all food taste the same. Great flavors come through with spices. I've just started growing my own herbs.

Oh, I forgot to mention, pretty soon all the wing-nuts will be here telling us this is the government trying to run our lives again. Of course if it happened in the previous administration, they'd say the government is trying to "save" our lives.

I agree so we better get in all the remarks we can. Next thing you know we will all have bad judgement marks. Too funny!

Be careful, a newly-formed government watchdog commission is gonna crack down on your colcannon quantities. It's in your best interest.

Glad the food companies are beginning to wake up and smell the decaf! Hopefully, they will get rid of hig fructose corn syrup as an additive.

I thought it was pretty funny too. And I haven't used salt in years. My mom was told to cut it out so I cut it out for all of us. I use salt substitute but only on eggs. Blood pressure is pretty good these days.

Good deal. I agree with Mysty and MSF, try spices/herbs and use substitutes. It'll make you feel a whole lot better.
