Wal-Mart shoppers will start buying healthier foods the day that Hostess starts making organic Twinkies and when Slim Jim comes out with tofu jerky.

I was hoping the consumer could pick what they wanted to eat, but I guess that can only happen in a free country.

I have noticed a few healthy items at Wal-Mart. Just the same, everyone needs to read labels and familiarize themselves with ingredients. When in doubt, research. Sadly though, Monsanto recently got the ok to put "Neotame" into almost every food there is. Neotame is very similar to Aspartame and don't believe it when they tell you it's safe. World domination through our food supply. Monsanto has even been experimenting for many years with GMOs - genetically modified foods. They've already begun their evil project. They slip a molecule into naturally grown and organic foods, forever changing the structure of that food. The molecule acts as a pesticide - Round-up - which protects the food but is toxic to humans. More cancers on the way!
