Residents appreciate upgrade plans, but ..

Full story: ThisWeek Community Newspapers

Most of those who attended a community meeting last week to learn about plans to upgrade Clintonville's Kroger store didn't have any objections to what's planned.

Imagine that...Clintonville residents unhappy over planned improvements to be made by a business. I have a suggestion for Kroger...leave the building as it is or close the store altogether. Let them eat cake.

It would be wonderful if Krogers would leave. Then we'd have the opportunity to get a Trader Joes or something else befitting the neighborhood.
THANKS KROGER

Thanks for investing in Clintonville, and for all the planned inprovements. Please do not get involved with all the residents that will complain, just move forward with your plans. I have never witnessed such childish behavior in my life.

For the love of God, does Carole Tomko have to get involved in everything? Please, somebody find a full-time job for that woman, and preferrably an out-of-state job. Please. Otherwise, she'll be dictating who gets to move into the southwest corner of North Broadway & High once the old building is torn down.
Thank you to Kroger. Build it the way you want to. It's your store, not Carole's

This is what you get when a Board of liberals with little or no respect for the constraints that businesses must deal with to survive, sit in judgement of a proposal like this. Lets see if they push Kroger far enough to force them to cancel this much needed project for Clintonville and spend the money somewhere else.... where they're appreciated!
