How about fullfilling the promise of a Kroger Market Place you promised back in 2003 when Big Bear closed down? Mill Run and the surrounding area is in desperate need of a grocery store.

The entire area is filled with illegals and immigrants on welfare. No wonder it cant support a grocery store. Its just plain sad what happened to that end of town.

A few years ago, I lived within a mile of that Kroger and attempted a few times to shop there...The store was dirty, the produce was not fresh, milk was past it's date and good luck finding an employee who would help. Then the wait in line...for just one cashier. 91 employees? Really? The Kroger in Westerville isn't much further and a much nicer store.

What's sad, is that it isn't in a "rough area". It's surrounded by a residential area, both homes and apartments, as well a two schools and two child care centers. It has to do more with the employees than the location.

I grew up in the Northland area and am sad too see it has declined so badly. The Meijer on Cleveland ave. has been a good place to get robbed in the parking lot for the last 20 years.
Those who don't think it's a bad area should open their eyes and look around at all the decayed commercial and residential property.

Folks,

When Kroger leaves - it's time to pull out.

In a few months time I bet they open another Kroger in the "nice" part of town, with Mayor Coleman cutting the ribbon to thunderous applause.

Job well done Kroger!

It 's Walmart, not "marts". You must be from that area of town.
