Hopefully the sentence fits the crime- give her 30 years w/o any chance of parole, that might give Bill's kids a chance to grow up w/o her influence, it's a shame that the same idiots that raised her is raising BG's kids.

Evidently her parents had a lot of influence on her because her mother knew Megan was messing around with Bill when Megan was jail bait. Sad to think they have the children. Maybe Grandma will open her eyes and see she has done something wrong and not make the same mistakes with the children that she did herself and with Megan. In my opinion Megan was guilty as hell and also in my opinion she should get life without parole for trying to work the system like she worked poor Bill Goff!!!!

I think Grandmaw is just as sick and evil as her daughter and in no way should be raising her kids. The child services needs to keep a very close eye on this situation. She got off easy, she should have got life without parole.

If she was afraid of him why did she go to him? It is crazy that she claimed self defense. I feel sad for her children & family but justice was served.

I agree with you 110% a member og yhr jury has posted on the other Megan Goff thread and she expressed how they came to their decision and found her guilty of murder. IMO This jury did a outstanding job, the juror's took everything into consideration, the juror who has posted said at the start of the trial she was leaning toward the BWS. Wasn't he a child molestor? That brings me to my next point... Child molestors groom their victim and gain their trust before the abuse begins. I know this because I work with victm's of sexual abuse.
Not saying all or any victim should go kill their abuser but we have no idea what was going on in her head that night or the fear she lived in for years.
That's the point. We DON'T know what was going on in her head. We had no proof that Bill ever abused Megan. We had a video of her provoking him while he was on morphine and a recorded phone conversation in which she is the aggressor and does not sound like she's afraid of him in any way shape or form. Unfortunately, Megan didn't call 911 BEFORE she shot him to give us a glimpse of her emotional state or mindset.

Every piece of physical evidence we had pointed to murder, plain and simple. None of us were happy about it and it was a difficult conclusion to come to but we had to serve the law and the truth; not speculation.

Thank you. I do honestly feel like we got it exactly right and when the verdict was read, I was looking straight into Ms. Goff's eyes. It's a very unfortunate situation and I wish we could have had more evidence of the alleged abuse but we didn't.

I understand how people can get caught up in their preconceived notions about this case. Just remember, not everything is as it seems and a lot of things that have been reported about this case have either been patently false or unreliable speculation.

How can this pale, weak, mousy looking woman be anything but a victim? However, over the next week, the defense didn't do anything at all to prove her a victim. All I would have needed was one CREDIBLE piece of physical evidence of abuse and I would have sent the woman home to raise her children and lead a happy life. The evidence simply was not provided. None of us enjoyed or found satisfaction in the verdict. It's a terrible, terrible tragedy for those children no matter how you slice. They are the only true victims.

I said there was reasonable doubt to the premeditation aspect of aggravated murder. There can't be any doubt of murder. All that means is that she purposely caused his death. You are clearly more concerned with calling people names and proving your superior intelligence than actually reading the discussion. Or maybe we're just too ignorant to be understood.
