Big deal!!! This is the type of story the poor, the disenfranchised, and the world`s losers live for. Get over it! Ralph`s is awesome and an example of how a 1st world grocery store should be. Go to a grocery store in a 3rd world place like Tijuana, Palestine, or Vietnam and you`ll realize how wonderful Ralph`s is.

Oh I have been to a grocery store in Tijuana and they weigh your food in front of you...Pss pss I don't think TJ or Mexico is a third world country anymore. Matter of fact I think the US is close to becoming a 3rd world country since it owes so much Money for oil. Don't you just hate it when people assume?

them overcharging- lets say- 20 cents per person for 1 product-- lets say a few lbs of product X.- may not seem like much.. heck-- whats 20 cents.
but multiply that by 100 customers who bought that product on that day- then multiply that by the # of stores in So Cal....
Now- multiply that by 365 days in a year....

then add in the same for all the other products theyre doing this with---- thats A LOT of $$$$

Let's also say if one person shoplifts one item at lets say $2.00 whats $2.00 multiply that by 100 customers then X that per number of stores 365 days a year. I say its a wash.

I know Ralphs was hit with a fine...but what if any restitution will the customers who were gouged get? How will they clarify who is to be compensated? It is already tough getting by these days, with food and gas prices the way they are.
How much more can consumers be pushed in a corner?

You must work for Ralph's to show such devoted passion to these rip offs. I doubt if you've ever been out of the country on your Ralph's salary.

ralphs sucks. their customer service is weak, and the checkout lines are long. what a surprise that such a crappy company has been criminally charged for ripping their customers off. this has happened to ralphs a few times in recent years.

Kroges is Foodco up here and it's semi ok.I shop the Target Superstore.I do miss Starter Brothers.Ralph's we we had one in Azusa was terrible.Produce was of poor quality and you'd find expired lunchmeat all the time.To top it off it was overpriced.
