Shall we discuss the many, many concerns about this relatively new and under-tested drilling technique? Shall we discuss communities near where this occurs being able to set their water on fire? Shall we discuss the fossil fuel released from this does not even begin to pay for the damages to the drinking water of MILLIONS of Americans who probably will NOT profit from this boon?
You're the idiot for being short-sighted, lazy and greedy. We need real, long-term change and planning that considers ALL sides of the situation as well as future projections, not just immediate economic gains w/no vision. That's what's SO wrong w/our country today.
Ah yes, another Democrat, always with the name calling, and very little knowledge. This whole attitude really makes me sick. Stick to things you know, or, educate yourself, I would bet you think we don't need Nuclear power as well?

can you imagine building the freeway system we have from the west coast to the east coast with all the extreme EPA guidelines, tree, and butterfly huggers, the permits and crap involved would make it impossible, and it would never have happened!!!

Whats wrong with our Country, for you info gas is up to 8-9 dollars a gallon in Northern Europe and they make 50% of the wages, which would translate into 16 dollar a gallong gas on same wages.
In Southern Europe it is 5 dollars a gallon, translates into 10 dollar gas when you compare wages.
Building dangerous pipelines across Ohio will not make gas cheaper. As you said we are using what we got and it won't get any cheaper by building these pipelines
So Higher prices are a good thing, as Europe is going down the crapper, we should be like them? You must think that no one should have too much money either, eh comrade?
