With an oil exec running Dept of Natural Resources and Kasich's neutering of the EPA, expect the plans to be approved quickly and the destruction of the environment to begin. Kasich made it clear to his department heads and in proposed legislation that all regulations are to take a backseat during this tough economy.

Go ahead and put down the pipeline. Ohio needs jobs and their benefits for the people. Tell the tree huggers and EPA to take a 'hike!' Think of the people FIRST before a bird or squirrel. Remember, man has dominion over all the earth...not the earth over man!

Alterations to pipelines often occur due to environmental concerns. The concerns are addressed, the pipelines is built, and the product flows. What's the story here?

Being good stewards of our environment benefits SOCIETY. If you don't understand this, you need to go take a HIKE!It might do you some good! The pipelines can be routed through existing utility right-of-ways rather than putting down a new footprint.

Hey, did you know that the meaning of the word dominion at the time the bible was written meant guarianship? And it is called a ecosystem for a reason? I'll take the squirrels in my yard, and their knowledge level, over your ignorance any day.

I laid some pipe after reading this story! What a bad idea! The Special K administration has an opportunity to prevent damages to the few remaining high quality wetlands. And over 300 stream crossings? It is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

Great...the one time we need a responsible state government to properly regulate these energy-corporation thugs and protect our state environment, we have the state completely run by reTHUGlicans.

Say goodbye to Ohio's environment, as Kasux and friends line their pockets...

What a bunch of hypocrites are on here with respect to environmental issues. Before you bash the new pipeline or any other energy project, please disconnect all your utilities. Without the ability to transport molecules or electrons over long distances the utility companies could not provide service to your house. So please go outside, right now, and chop down the electrical lines, phone lines, cable lines. Dig up you waterline, gas line and sewer line and cap them. How do you think the waster, gas and electricity reaches you moms home. In the basement, you sit on your brains ranting on your computer about infrastructure being built. What do you think powers your computer? How do you thinks your emails are carried over long distance to the Dispatch server. However, if you do follow my advice and disconnect from the utility lines, you may want to hire a stable boy. At the rate you trolls create manure, you mothers basement will fill rather rapidly with all you thoughts and wisdom.
