Groupon may be about to go public | The Columbus Dispatch
#1 Jan 17, 2011
talk about history repeating itslef. This one has dot com bust written all over it. I signed up for Groupon using a trash email account. I never look at their emails, The deals never interst me, yet Grooupon spouts on about how many people are registered with their company.
Giving Groupon an email address, and translating that into revenue are two completely different things.
This one is all out of control hype. Come on in suckers!

I couldn't agree with you more. Groupon has nothing that can't be done by other companies just as easily. And they clearly inflate their value. I'm staying far away from this one. "Dot Com Bust 2.0" here we come!
