Seems unlikely since Micron already bailed on NOR flash and aren't exactly swimming in cash. But I suppose stranger things have happened...

Micron may want a cut of Spansions IP portfolio that grew with the aquisition of Saifun. It is not just NOR, but Mirrorbit, ORNAND and Quad that are on the table here. Fab25 starts are about to begin ramping again, so something is happening but don't have more details. Also, in reading posts on a Micron thread, it sounds like Micron could certainly use some solid leadership at all levels and lessons on how to run lean. But that's just the impression I get from the obviously disgruntled.
