Great example of the best of liberal intentions, actually assisting with economic hardship. The title of the article "low wage Haitian jobs" is value laden. Sure, it doesn't match American standards but it sure beats not working before the massive handouts. Now it is more "profitable" to be unemployed waiting for handouts. The handouts should be reserved for workers. The economy must rebuild and they have a FABULOUS opportunity as the world will want to help Haitians. Better get market oriented economists to assist with the rebuilding effort before well meaning liberals "destroy" the economy with misplaced generousity.

(kinda like welfare reform)

Of course, as soon as Tiger Woods starts playing again and sales of his golf apparel goes through the roof.

However, some of these folks will be introduced to the American system of welfare and their lives will be destroyed for generations.

You're the brother of Grimreaper from AZ aren't you? A liberal behind every bush and every bad idea? Man some of you people need to get a frigging life or a hobby or something. WHERE in this article does it allude to any political leaning - right or left? IT'S RICH PEOPLE GETTING RICHER OFF THE WORK OF THE POOR!!!!! Oh and most rich people are Republicans if you haven't figured that out.
