At present, there are several hundred DePuy ASR hip replacement recipients who have filed hip lawsuits against the orthopedic manufacturer. It does not come as a surprise since DePuy did not even subject its hip implants to safety tests. It is important that DePuy ASR recipients read more on the hip recall. Now, there is another problem this manufacturer has to face and that is a Pinnacle Lawsuit. Just like how their DePuy Hip Replacement has behaved, the DePuy Pinnacle system is also showing the same signs. To discover further regarding the DePuy Pinnacle Lawsuit, visit http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/ now!

Although, a DePuy Pinnacle Recall has not yet happened, it’s not difficult to see that something like this can also happen to the DePuy Pinnacle system. To learn more about the Pinnacle Recall, visit http://www.depuypinnaclelawsuit.com/recall at this time!

According to this website http://www.depuyhipreplacementlawsuit.com , several DePuy hip replacement lawsuits have been consolidated into a multidistrict litigation (MDL) under Judge David A. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio who called for a status conference of the DePuy hip replacement lawsuit this month. Last month, Judge Katz had issued several case management orders requiring plaintiffs' counsel to submit a Plaintiff Fact Sheet and Medical Records Authorization on behalf of their clients who have undergone revision surgery or are scheduled to undergo revision surgery.

DePuy is on the defensive. Hundreds of hip implant recipients across the nation have filed suits against the company in a massive effort to punish DePuy for marketing an under-tested device that plaintiffs say the company knew was dangerous. In early December, many of those lawsuits were consolidated into multidistrict litigation, a legal procedure that will streamline a messy set of circumstances. In multidistrict litigation, similar cases taking place in separate districts are consolidated into one pretrial proceeding to determine the common set of facts underlying all suits. One judge oversees all evidence gathering – in the DePuy lawsuit, U.S. District Judge David A. Katz in Toledo, Ohio. After the court determines the facts at the heart of the DePuy hip recall, each of the hundreds if not thousands of DePuy lawsuits will be sent back for trial to the courts where they were filed. I've come across this website http://www.rotlaw.com/depuy-asr/ which tells more about the Depuy hip replacement recall.

Not only Depuy is faced with this multitude of lawsuits. Other manufacturers of hip implants who had their products recalled are sued. A great amount of information about hip implants, hip implant recalls and lawsuits I found here: http://www.defectivehip.org/

With this news consolidation of hip replacement lawsuits will now enter into multi-district litigations that will rule on many cases with similar allegations against the same plaintiff. Since then, dozens of people have sued for damages against the companies responsible for the poor safety feature of hip replacement implants. This is one of the news reports I have seen online. I think that the problem lies in the design and materials of the hip implant. There might be more information in several sites and at http://www.smithandnephewhiplawsuit.com about these faulty hip implants.
