Pharmed Group, once of South Florida's once-largest Hispanic owned businesses, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.

I can't beleive how people so ignorant of every thing can dare to write so much stupidity about people they probably never heard before. The Cespedes brothers have been capable businessmen. They have give a place to work to many people in their business without any discrimination of any kind. They have contributied for many charities to benefit all the people and are very, very nice persons. To have financial problems in any business you dont have to steal anything or be a bad manager. That is part of the risk of doing business. I hope they can come out of this with more strength than before.

I worked for the company for nearly 5 years as part of their management group. The DeCespedes truly gave given back to the community, hospitals, colleges, University of Miami, charitable organizations. In many ways, the employees were like one big family. They did not discriminate, they hired ALL NATIONALITIES. This situation is simply the risk of running your own business and putting all your eggs in one basket.
