Americredit should be sued and investigated by a number of Federal agencies. They can no longer secure funding through American banks--some poor sucker in Germany or Switzerland invested millions with them. They illegally repossess vehicles and offer impossible financing. There have been hundreds of thousands of complaints against Americredit in the past year! Stop investing in crooked companies and let them fail!

I agree my mother passed away in jan. 09 and I sent americredit here death certificate and I wanted to pay her car off. I knew how much was owed on the car because I have all the recepts, its about a thousand dollars on a 12 year old car but to my surprize americredit said that i owed 5,711.78. well I know thats B.S. BECAUSE i HAVE ALL MY MOTHERS RECEPTS !.I'm consulting a lawyer to get my title besides my mother work all here life for that car and she wanted me to have it before she died. Rick S.

My mother passed away with melenoma cancer in jan.09 and she had left me a car ,well americredit holds the title and I had called them to see what the pay-off was. Well they told me to send them her death certificate so I did . Well I GET A REPLY IN THE MAIL SAYING THAT I OWE 5,711.78 THATS B.S.I know that I owe 1016.08 for I have all the recepts.Thats what kind of company americredit is . I'm persueing a lawyer at this time to fight for the car. If anyone go's to buy a car and the car lot that americredit will finance the car REFUSS THE OFFER AND LEAVE FOR YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU CHOSE TO USE THEM ! Rick S.
