Ron has done a fabulous job reinventing JCP. I have shopped there joyfully since Ron has taken over. It is a wonderful and surprising experience! I never went to JCP before because it was stodgy and not "au currant". It was not fun to go there- but Ron has changed all of that with beautiful choices and displays. I say Board Members give the time for the turnaround- the ship needs more time to turn around- it is a very unwieldy ship and perhaps Ron underestimated the amount of time it would take- but nevertheless- give him more time- he is so on the right track. The old JCP was not a place I (or my friends) would EVER shop. Ron changed all of that- do not disregard his genius- it is the real deal! P.s. I just spent $500 there! So delighted with my purchases!

LOL...they won't last so you better get what you want while they are still open. The negative experiences far outweigh the positive ones.

Jcp is a great place to shop, and we ask that you bear with us while we wait for him to be fired. There are still a lot of good people who work there and believe that it will get better.

You must be one of the few customers that enjoy shopping in an empty store with low quaility merchandise and having to hunt someone down to ring up your purchase.

Diwool, Ron has reeled in one, valley girl aka "au current fool "

She is so cute in her Canada grocery's outfits, you know not selling well there, American's are clueless outside their borders so old Ronnie boy will palm off Canadian knockoff Walmart products to the truly clueless at an upscale price. She so delighted. Oh course, she's crazy.

http://www.canada.com/story_print.html...

It's not so fresh new, ain't selling in Canada so ship it to Ron to fill floor space, same thing with that Justin Timberlake jeans crap, William Rast, those way over priced stand alone mall stores failed, so Ronnie got it. Google the price of those jeans, there is a reason for price drop, huge fake MSRP, they suck. There is a reason people LOL at JCP, Ron has created a retail museum. He picked up the lame and past prime brands.

But hey, Diwool, it's new to you. I sure you like the way you look, fo..or sure, twist ends of hair, smack gum.

Spare me....based on your address just guessing you are biased for personal reasons. Sales indicate you may be the only one in America who feels the same way.

The jcp store where I shop was packed today with many happy customers. The only people I had seen upset about the new JCP were old , fat and could be featured on the People of Walmart web page.Joe Fresh clothing is great looking, I just spent $300 on a few outfits for work and think it's a fun trendy line. The plus size /older crowd can still buy Alfred Dunner or find plus size options.i think the entire situation just gives people something to beech about because thats all they have in life to do.

For those who are knockingJCPenney, I truly wonder, how many of you have actually ever been in one of our stores. When the company introduced the Fair and Square policy the products/suppliers did not change. Instead, thousands of employees worked 7 days a week in order to re-price all of the existing inventory. JCPgirl is correct in saying that a lot of good people work for JCP and quite frankly, all of the cyber-bullies out there scare the heck out of us who have been with this company for 30+ years. Your negativity does not help our cause and thousands of people are worried what will happen to them if the company does go under.

Wow tthats funny! Do u actually think jcp impending bankruptcy has to do with so called cyber bullies? Have you read all the negative remarks on their fb page regarding quality, lack of customer service, rude associates, it goes on and on. You should really put that glass of rj koolaid down and snap out of it. Jcp is a sinking ship, epic fail, liquidation around the corner.....and btw I did visit a store over the holidays, about 5 customers total. Bunch of teen associates just hanging out at the register. Jcp sucks.......

The size selection and products DID CHANGE, many favorites were dropped by ron crackpot johnson..

The gay agenda didnt help either. Plus the stores I have been in are ill kept by teenagers who need clean clothes and a shower.

Ron broke every rule of retail and is piloting the JCP TITANIC into the ice berg. Actually its alreay hit the iceberg:( It just takes time tom kill a BIG company......

To you people that think the old, fat, etc people do not belong in stores of their choice I will tell you those old, fat ugly, people are the most loyal customers of all. Some day when you grow you might realize it.

I have worked for Penney's for 25 years (and no I am not old and probably look better than most of you so called in people) until I decided to retire from the company because of stupid, idiotic changes in the salon, which I might add had all been reinstated. Y I was one of the top producers in my salon,I gave up all benefits because I felt disrespected and to me respect means more than working in a socialistic environment.Mr Johnson and all other executives who have all the answers YOU WILL NEVER GET THE LOYALTY AND RESPECT FROM ALL THE WORKERS YOU LET GO, I know I have seen it you people do not see it because you are not there working with the actual workforce.

I am still working in my profession there is life after JCP

Correct, they didn't change the products, what he did is dump his new old stock and didn't replace it, he had to sell this stuff, he heavily discounted that stuff to get rid of it, I know I paid $5 a pieces for two pair of $45 sandals, why would anyone in their right mind do this if they were going to reordered from, as you say, the same suppilers providing the same product? Doesnt add up, now does it? There were hundreds of clearance sign up to move that stuff last year,. how else do you explain the room needed for that mini store crap.
