How does this effect Casino Aztar? It said the layoff is in St. Louis at the corperate level not the casino level.

"Layoffs" almost always flow down hill. What starts at the corporate level usually means more big changes further down the "food chain".

There is already going to be big changes at Aztar after the first of the year when Isle of Capri officially takes over. Change is good.

That usually happen when you buy more property. Another thing that probably hurt them was the hurricane, when they had to relocate. I know they had a lot of casinoes in Mississippi and Louisiana. That would explain why they are restructioning at the corperate level.

I think the isle capri in Boonville must not care about all the fines they pay as long as they can take money from there customers. But it won't be long and know one will want to play there. It is not fine just to put your money in the slot and never get anything. I have heard alot of people complaining of this.
