I second that!
No company makes you happy 100 % of the time- but it's the PEOPLE who make Quad great. Here's to our "new" company! I hope it will be better for the former WC people. It sounds like you've endured enough crap for one lifetime.
WELCOME !

I am a former WC employee and I have to say today is the first time in a long time that I am excited, I feel as is the clouds have been lifted and sun is finally shining through. I am excited to be a part of the New Quad. I love the fact that Quad is about family and that they care, I have a child with special needs and I actually got teary eyed just listening to Joel talk about how important family is to him and the company...it really made me feel good. Thank you for the warm welcome...:)

That's one thing they are! They don't play games with your schedule. It's all laid out in advance! They have day care at some of the plants!

If god forbid something happen's to your plant and you actually give a crap and have a good work ethic make sure you keep cehcking insidequad for job postings! WE need good people that care.

Bottom line is if we don't care and make the equipment run and Quad money then we don't get a raise. Very simple!

AND our managers actually do give a crap and have worked up through the ranks! We do not hire production managers from the outside. they all were entry level at one time

I would like to say Thanks to all the "old" Quad employees that have extended their hands out to us "new" Quad employees.

It has been along road over the last few years filled with drama and just all together crap. It's really nice to hear some positive responses coming across for a change.

The only negative thing I have to say is, I work in the D'burg plant, which we all know is going to close sometime in the very near future, I just wish Quad would've been the one to acquire us back when Quebecor took over.

I have a strange feeling that things would be allot different for us here in Dyersburg if that had been the case.

I have never meet Joel Quadracci or even spoken with him, but his video address today, just makes me wonder, just how good of a place this still could be to work at, if things had been different years ago.

Hope all my new fellow employees have a GREAT 4TH!!

God Bless You All!

Maybe you will understand it better like this... I work for one of the most profitable WC plants ( now Quad ) that joel mentioned today that he has visited. Not to brag but our pressroom runs at about 135%... We have not had a raise in 3 years, also lost ten percent last spring ( we are non- union ), lost one weeks vaction and no more company match in 401k.. I for one am glad as hell we were sold to what seems to be a great company but, it still is about the money and u would feel the same if in our situation...

Why cant you people at Quad answer a simple question?! How much do you make?! It is simple. Why are you all so scared to answer? Everytime you say stuff like, "its not all about the pay" or "Stabiltity means alot today, grasp it", this tells me that you all do not make enough money, and I can tell you one thing, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!! THAT IS WHY I GO TO WORK EVERYDAY!!! I AM WORKING FOR A PAYCHECK TO RAISE MY KIDS AND FEED THEM.
And let me tell you something all you brain washed quad people, ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY FOR MR QUADRACCI TOO!!!!!!! You see, every dollor he does not pay you goes into the Quadracci coffers.

My salary is my business and mine alone. I will tell you that I am well compensated for the job I do. Joel talked about performance pay today. If you perform and prove yourself to be a true owner of the company, you too will be rewarded. It's that simple.

See, there you all go again, proving my point. You refuse to give us an idea how much of a cut we can expect when we become foster kids of the quad family.
