I can say one thing so far about TRANSCON. They have owned us a week. A raise in my pay with no anouncement, sign company showed up to get measurements for new actual signs, and it looks like we maybe finally getting new uniforms, they have done more in a week than Quad in 2 years.
Oh ya and some work into the plant.

I wouldn't get to comfortable if I were you, especially if you happen to be talking of the Aurora plant.

Dartmouth RIP 20 April 2012, Montreal (RDP) in June. Sad, very sad. In Dartmouth, it's like breaking up a family.

Sounds like Transcon is closing Dartmouth, LaSalle, moving a press out of Mountreal, displacing the people in Aurora and putting a press in Edmonton. Who`d a thunk it?

Don`t be surprised if P.K. does`nt buy some of his old presses back from his former shops that are soon to be shut down to get back in to the game. Maybe even print his own 24 hour publications?

Well it looks like we will be closing on April 20, but I suspect by end of next week most will be gone and the following week will finish who's been left, I have worked with great people in Dartmouth, no one compares, Transcon is getting rid of the best, they will soon realize their mistake, my co-workers are like family and from the bottom of my heart I will truly miss you all.

From my experience with the closure of Dartmouth. DON'T TRUST TransCON HR.
By the way, they wants to be call TC or Transcontinental. Don't say TransCON, they don't like that. I guess true hurts...

watch your pocket book i'am sure TRANS-CON will be telling the H.R. people at the shops that are closing to drag their feet and give as little info as it can. it must burn them big time to have to pay penisons to ex employees of that big prick pierre karl .
