So all those people in Joel's email that "are no longer with the company" were let go?
Sounds like Quad doesn't waste any time if they don't like something!

I am writing to announce that Rocky Cirillo has been appointed Interim Plant Director for the Augusta, Georgia, plant, effective immediately. Rocky replaces Pat Quinn, who is no longer with the company.

In addition, other key leadership changes at the Augusta plant are as follows, effective immediately:

· Eric Genzlinger has been appointed Interim Plant Controller, replacing Ken Hight.

· Lisa Bennett has been appointed Interim Human Resources Manager, replacing Allen Fuller.

· Purchasing Manager Mike Ward’s duties will be consolidated into Corporate Purchasing in Sussex, led by Lori Willson, Executive Director of Global Procurement.

Pat, Ken, Allen and Mike are no longer with the company.

Rocky Cirillo is already familiar with many Augusta plant employees and customers. Since the acquisition, he has made multiple trips to the plant in his role as Regional Production Director of Press. He has drawn on his 33 years of company and industry experience to improve both operations and equipment. Rocky will continue to serve as a Regional Production Director of Press while fulfilling the Interim Plant Manager role.

Eric is a 19-year veteran of Quad/Graphics and, for the last 10 years, has served as The Rock Plant Controller. He has also served as the controller for our Martinsburg - Caperton Boulevard, West Virginia, plant, and worked for one year at QuadWinkowski in Poland. Prior to joining the Accounting Department, he worked several months on equipment in Lomira Finishing, giving him a unique perspective on production operations. He will continue to act as The Rock Plant Controller while also serving as Interim Plant Controller in Augusta.

Lisa Bennett is a seasoned printing industry veteran and human resources professional with background in employee relations, compensation, benefits, health and safety. Following the acquisition, she became Human Resources Manager for The Rock plant. Lisa has excellent people-management skills, and is a very good listener and problem solver. Lisa will continue to fulfill her duties at The Rock while also serving as Interim Human Resources Manager in Augusta.

Please join me in welcoming and supporting Rocky, Eric and Lisa as they assume their interim duties. Permanent appointments for Augusta Plant Director, Plant Controller and Human Resources Manager will be announced in the future.

Thank you,
Dave

"You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours." How's that working out for you now, boys? Hate to see that Ken Hight got caught up in it too though. He was a smart and talented young man.

So, what exactly happened? Right after Blais' email, Joel Q. sent out this email about the honor code basically, so I can only assume that those four were in on some kind of deal?

Let's go Evans - spill the beans!!

Hey you people in Augusta better look out, if you will read the entire email, you will notice that your new "team leaders" are still holding the same positions in The Rock (what a stupid town name by the way) GA, just a few miles from you:

"Rocky will continue to serve as a Regional Production Director of Press while fulfilling the Interim Plant Manager role."

"He (Eric) will continue to act as The Rock Plant Controller while also serving as Interim Plant Controller in Augusta."

"Lisa will continue to fulfill her duties at The Rock while also serving as Interim Human Resources Manager in Augusta."

I to am waiting for the break up of the Merced Quad graphics/WC Klan. HR. Lesley Peeler says Merced will be ran as it was under WC only thing different is now management will use a new tool of abuse. Evaluations. All the lazy pets friends and family members will have top evaluations. Before we had to do the pets friends and family members jobs. More work at the same pay , now we will have to do their jobs and get less pay than them WTF. Why is Quad so scared to change the Merced plant. It is so controlled by the good ole boys that out side contractors and vendors are even told how much to bid for a job. That is one of the reason World color failed. Management even controlled bidding by telling friends and family vendors what prices to bid

Quad is putting money into Merced. Know that operations are being looked at closely. No decisions will be made with haste, but when the decisions are made; change will be swift. It sounds like Merced is in need of a Quad enema! Let's hope change comes sooner rather than later.

funny how the same friends and family vendors and sub contractors seem to under bid everyone else for years. That is why they always fail. Management is so fearful of change anyone that speaks up or questions them is gone. Pathetic. The good ole boys in Merced conduct this way of operating openly. Openly I can ten u any sub contractor or vendor as either family members in Merced or a good friend that works there
