Is it true that Dickson and Fernley lost the PGA titles to RRD, also heard that Womans World could also be leaving Dickson. Is this a sign of the times to come for Quad.

Equipment gets junked to lower said totals available to print mags, ect. in theory that makes pricing go up. If you think not, then go to business school. It is called supply and demand.

If this is true it should be great news for many former Quad employees. In all honesty Brown was missing a South-central position and this should give them some advatages with all thier publication work.

Anyone with a firm statement on this possibility?

Brown Printing was a good place to work for and it is unfortunate they didn't reaquire the Franklin plant since it was once theirs to begin with.

There's something to be said for reading 20-year-old newspapers. I'm sure that you've heard the adage about history's tendency to repeat itself.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

It's often true.

I believe most was done in Franklin Ky. Plus the Cornith Mississippi plants. And a little bit in Dyersburg TN. same times.
