Has anyone heard any news about the terms of this yet. We are having plant wide meetings in Tue. the 14th to discuss the term sheet. Guess we will know by then how much of a pay cut were in for.

Agreement in principle is all we have currently. The actual plan (with details) will be filed by the end of the month.

Union or nonunion, It doesnt matter. The company will do what ever it takes to get out of bankruptcy. If the union doesnt agree, they will just close the doors. Remeber the lincoln plant.

100% right....they know they got the employees by the short and curlies and the employees will take whatever they're given.....I was let go 2 months ago, the union sat and watched us lose our jobs... It won't affect me.... good luck....

Bend over guys its double digit pay cuts for all of us. Be happy to work at QW & suck it up dudes, be happy 2 have a job in these difficult economic times. We need to be proud to work for QW, we did the right thing going into Chapter 11 because we will emerge stronger. All you have to do is give up some of your salary and our creditors give up 90%. We have a job and dont have to line up in the unemployment line. Lie back and enjoy it! We should be happy as hell that the dumb ass banks want to continue to invest in us and our creditors are greedy enough to eat their losses just to continue to do business with us.
Proud to be part of this beautiful thing.

We hav'nt heard about pay cuts yet,but they are triming the fat.We lost a binder operator due to production or the lack there of.If you ask me corperate needs to trim the fat managers.We have a Continious Improvement manager that probably makes 90k yearly,what did he do last year?He hung up 2 Big Ass fans and made pegboards for brooms and dustpans.In our bindery we have too many bosses,bindery manager,bindery superintendant,tech supervisor,polybag supervisor and four shift supervisors.This is fat at its finest..........

My personal favorite is the Bindery Technical Supervisor ( does anybody else have one of these). Followed closely by the Polybag Supervisor, what a joke. Don't know how true it is but the story is they were both fired and brought back by Bindery Manager. Now there's a bright move, probably looking at 180 grand that could of been way better spent. Polybag supervisor started out as polybag coordinator (hourly employee) then one day turned into supervisor(no more hourly) its amazing to sit back and watch this stuff and then people wonder why we are broke

The tech super started as shift super and went to tech super ,then asst bindery manager,then press manager,then back to tech super.The poly super started as shift super,then CSR,got terminated,rehired as shift super,now poly super.
It's called create a job if you are in the good ole boys club!!!!!!!!!
