I've asked around whenever anyone talks about internet dating or meeting sites, and I don't know anybody who's actually had a successful relationship from it. They all know someone or have a friend who said they found happiness, but none directly. I find that interesting.

Lets be honest. Internet dating is for people who want to hook up, that's it; and there's nothing wrong with that. Just quit acting all noble about it.

I was living in the Baltimore area and my wife in the Miami area when we met on line over seven years ago. The online exchanges led to us using our own personal e-mails addresses with each other, which led to long phone conversations, which led to us flying back and forth for a number of months visiting each other, and we've been married five wonderful years now.

Congratulations. You were lucky. Most of what is on these sites, free or paid, are predatory trolls with agendas.
