As someone new to the IT field i dont think its a shortage of IT personell i think its a shortage of employment for entry level employees. Doesn't seem that entry level means entry level anymore I see jobs with entry level in their descriptions and what do they ask for? None other than a B.A and 5 yrs experience. Go figure its not the market for jobs its the companies that want to pay you 15 an hr and have someone with a B.A at the same time. Well gl to you all you IT pros out there in finding employment if you arent up to the entry level "par".
