Informatica ERROR: unable to acquire execute lock on session instance

When Informatica Workflow is executed from Linux, session fails with following ERROR: unable to acquire execute lock on session instance
When the session is re-executed manually it works properly. These workflows are executing for long time without any problems in old environment.
In new environment it failed. If any one can provide information to fix this issue, please publish.

I faced the similar issue, This looks like an orphaned process keeping a lock active. A restart of the server (server reboot, where informatica powercenter is hosted) would be the best option, in order to reclaim all the lost processes.

This happens when some other process/user having the control on session.
Please make sure your session is completely executed before reusing the same session.
Also make sure that no other users doing any sort of operations on the sessions while you are running them.
