Letters: Bush, not Obama

Full story: Las Cruces Sun-News

Ms. Sanchez , ideologues make rotten historians. Along with the rest of the world, I am relieved that George Bush is no longer president, but your belief that "President Obama, in only six months, has engineered the virtual takeover of the auto industry, the insurance industry, and the banking industry" is blatantly wrong.

Hey Donald:

Most Republicans were against the moves of the Bush administration in the latter months with regard to bailouts and such.

What Obama has done in the past 7 months overshadows what Bush did by at least four-fold.

Auto company takeover
Continued bank bailouts
Failed stimulus package
Attempt to take over 20% of the GDP with health care reform.

Sounds to me that more damage has been done by Obama in recent months.

Obama is following the ruts left by Bush in this quagmire. The gravy train for the elites and banksters will soon high-center.
Sadly, the middle class will have to get out and dig, while the blessed ones sit high and dry on rich Corinthian Leather.

methinks thou dost protest too much Mr. Heinzman. Time to let go of the "it's all Bush's fault" mentality. HE is no longer president. HE cleaned up after Clinton and didn't keep blaming everything on previous administrations. HE had American values...Let it all out... you all voted for a man with completely ulterior motives. Just check out his "czars"..

I can't wait to hear your opinions of Obama when his term ENDS in 2012!!! You're going to wake up and ask yourself what the H*E*L*L you were thinking!

All of those events occured because of the community organizer types (guess who), that demanded banks lend money to people that didn't earn enough to pay for their purchases. Now people that did the right thing are expected to pay for the dead beats. It's easy to blame the person that was in office when all of this was started by the "spread the wealth" types.

Oh yeah - Dubya 'cleaned up after Clinton." He damn well took care of that massive economic problem: "Surpluses as far as the eye can see."

"HE had American values" Oh yeah - Cutting firewood and going fishing when told there is a imminent threat to the country damn well isn't what I'd call an American value. LYING the country into a war and empire building so he could be a 'war president' Damn sure isn't an American value.

You are flat out delusional!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Cancer

You could struggle to display your feelings and emotions at the moment. Being so sensitive, the smallest things could hurt your feelings, but no one else is likely to realise since you retreat into your shell at these times. This will not be a conscious decision, and you'll feel frustrated at your inability to explain the hurt you suffer.
