they did pull out of southern cal, but im work in nor-cal where the bread does quite well here. The new nature prides , has been pretty successful, way better than the bakers inn bread.

In SW Florida Uncle Wally wasn't nice to us either. I lost a little less then half of bread, gained in cake and bun space.Y does flowers have 28 facings and why is entemanns just selling fake mini muffins? Is Wal-Mart taking care of Regional companys rather then Nation wide? Is Wal-Mart still holding a grudge over the private label aka private letters? Or is it cause Flowers and Bimbo(Old Weston) was on there knees a little longer, or cause we don't swallow? Either way we(I) lost. I guess our pull up people we be working just a little bit harder for the same pay off.

That should probably cover all the little convience stores in southern Cali. That's all we care about anyway.

this is in response to both your comments jaime--yes we at sara lee are union members and yes we average 10,ooo a week average route (pretty large) but its a good paycheck with good insurance--this path to market should scare you ibc rsr's because bottom line is this is the first step in drop shipment which means they wont need route people anymore just someone to drive a semi truck-

I know it sucks. I too was bringing in about $800 to $900 a week. N now I am bringing $600 to $700. This is just the beginning. I think the next contract we will not even have a base pay just straight up commision. This company is going down hill. I really hope this company can turn it around soon.
