This company is the worst managed company ever. From Jung down to Gms what a Joke. This Jung clown thinks path to market will work with a 1 week code on bread. This is not Frito lay you moron. what a waste of money hiring idiots like him. While hes collecting bonuses and running this company to the ground the route salesman are working harder than ever trying to just get by. I hope this idiot is one of the first to go if they get this financing done. Lets get a Bread guy at the top not a frigin chip manager that cares nothing about anyone except how big his bank account is.

Well though I think we all agree that management is the biggest downfall to this company, from Jung on down, they dont care , they turn away business and fail to make sure we can take care of what we have. The thing is we are stuck with Jung at least til his contract expires in Feb of 2010, that was one of the conditions out lined in their business plan but rest assured management will be changed and according to their plan layers of management will be removed

The deal is scheduled to go through, will it be delayed?Possible but as of now all things look good for the financing being finalized and the company emerging finally. Will it be a better company? We can only hope that Ripplewood has heard what we have pointed out and takes action.

Well its over GE will not do the deal. See there newest news release on earnings and takeing on any more bad loans. Wal Mart has taken the PL away in 300 stores effective Feb the 3rd. With this lose of volume in our plants we can not cover over head. There has to be a reason that Wal Mart would do this on this time schedule as we only have till Feb the 9th to have a plan in place for the court. Do they know something we have not been told.

no one seems to know what is going on with the exit financing. management isn't talking and all we hear is rumors spread by our competitors that we are done if this deal doesn't close by the 9th of Feb. Seems to me that whoever knows what really is happening is busy covering their own butts first, before dropping the bomb on all of us. Maybe our new president will step in and bail out our respective Twinkies????

Interstate Bakeries and GE Capital Reach Agreement in Principle On Revised Terms Of Revolving Credit Financing
Company Diligently Pursuing Emergence from Chapter 11 in the Near Future

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 2009--Interstate Bakeries Corporation (OTCBB: IBCIQ) announced today that it has reached an agreement in principle with GE Capital Corp. on key terms for a revised asset-based revolving credit financing facility.

"We are now working diligently with GE Capital and our other financing providers to finalize all documentation for our exit financing. We are optimistic that we will emerge from Chapter 11 in the near future," said Craig Jung, CEO of IBC.

IBC's existing debtor-in-possession financing matures, and its exit financing commitments expire, on February 9, 2009.

"Given today's challenging credit markets, our road to emergence from Chapter 11 has been longer and more challenging than anticipated, but we have now reached the final stretch," Mr. Jung said. "While much work remains to be done to close our financing transactions, we believe that our accord with GE Capital has cleared the last significant obstacle to our emergence," he said. "Negotiations with GE Capital over the past several days have been constructive, and so I am optimistic we will have a timely completion of this transaction."

IBC said it has filed a motion with the bankruptcy court seeking approval to close on the amended terms of the revolving credit facility, and that it expects the court to have a hearing on the motion on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

IBC also cautioned that there can be no assurance that its exit financing will close as expected.

Hopefully with the announcement with GE, we can get back to the business of growing our business, instead of worrying about it so much. I still believe that we have a great product line to offer, and now we can concentrate on selling it and marketing it.

We have 11 Walmarts out of our agency here in Rhode Island, and we have th pl in all but one of them, with no signs of losing it. I just sell cake Hostess and Drakes, I have been here for 18 years and just had the best January of sales I have ever had. They have run some great promotions, especially with the 100 calorie cake and it is flying. They did just up the snack cake to $1.39, and its hurting it right now.

Its true if you have not found out about walmart PL. Here in Mn Sara Lee is taken over all of walmarts PL and left wonder with hardly any space for mainline even. The planograms are the worst I have ever seen. walmart is not using sales to base scamatics cash must be talking. Im tired of bustin my azz and ibc laying down to every competitor around. We have lost major accounts in the last 3 years Lunds, byerlys,Target GMS st. paul Saints baseball and going and picking up stops like oasis markets 20 a week stops. This Natures Pride looked good at first but now we are selling just 4 varieties same as bakers inn just different packaging. If this is the plan to make money forget it. We should have at least 10 varieties or this is going to be around for a year and gone. Our buns all summer long seemed like they were frozen. Push on them and they broke very dry. I finally complained enough and they seem better now. Sams club we sell just buns there and no one to push them to sell wonder or HPWheat. It need to be accepted at corporate even know I have store managers that would accept it. Our pricing is never accurate. We order 6 days out and when we have a sale somewhere you dont know if its going to really be on sale or not so its hard to order for displays if your not going to have a sale. Or its in ad at a store and it tells us 2/4$ and its 234$ makes a difference how much stale you have. I am looking forward to working hard with ripplewood I just hope they have our backs. BANKRUPTCY IS OVER WE ALL HAVE JOBS BUT MAYBE NOT HOUSES FOR VERY LONG WITH THIS 110$ A WEEK PAY CUT STARTING NEXT WEEK. JUNG THANKS FOR WASTING ALL ARE RESOURCES ON B SHIT PATH TO MARKET YOU FOOL. I DONT THINK YOU WILL BE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR HOUSE PAYMENT IM GUESSING. IF ANYONE FROM RIPPLEWOOD READS THIS PUT SOMEONE ELSE IN CHARGE YOU KNOW HOW TO HAND MONEY IM GUESSING IF YOU HAVE SO MUCH. HIRE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHATS BEST FOR EVERYONE.
