I know what you mean, I have the same exact situation. But the best thing for you to do is back off, because you don't want to hurt yourself waiting for him to love you. But most of all, don't put him in jail. He has his whole life ahaead of him, just like you.

I know how tough your situation is because I am going though something similar. I am 16 and truly in love with my 39 year old teacher. He is sensitive, musicical, funny, intelegent, and a great/positive person to be around. Sometimes young women fall in love with older men because they never had a father figure in their life. And sometimes because true love comes calling. I say you should go for it when your 18 because you don't want him to get into trouble because of you. Perhaps if you both still feel this level of attraction in 3 years that a commited relationship will work. Until then just take a breath and wait. Enjoy each others company as friends and then see what happens.

Well,
He's the one to make a move.
And he will.
At least, in my situation :P.

I understand the feelings for this man, truly I do. I've been head over heels, reach for the moon, do and be anything for my Spanish teacher. My love for him even made me want to become a Spanish teacher, just to make him proud of me.

But I recently came to the realization that I loved him, but not romantically. I needed his approval, because I had no father figure growing up. And he was sweet and kind, and something I never knew.

Coming to that realization made me sick. I wanted to believe I loved him, and wanted him. It was heartbreaking. Trust me, you're better off with someone your own age. You'll just be hurt in the process.

You'll never stop thinking of him. You'll want to. But you won't. You just have to quit him. No more. Distance yourself from this man.

Because no offense. I doubt he wants to "settle down" with you. I doubt he wants to give up everything comfortable, for a underage girl. The truth hurts. And I'm so sorry to crush your dreams, but it's better than realizing it yourself.

I'm a teacher, and one year when I was in my 30s, a teenage student used to hang out in my classroom after school. One day she said she wanted to kiss me. I didn't take the bait ... but some guys would, and that's a bad road to go down.

So be careful girls, don't mess around with those older authority-figure men. When you grow up some more, you'll be glad you didn't.

In inlove with my teacher and i tend to smile at her all the time -even my mate has realised. Well she recently has stopped sayng hi to me or even smiling at me which she always used to do. Im realy realyy shy to talk to her so iv never realy talked to her execpt when she asks me a questions in class and thats about it and iv knows her for two years now.
She has been avoiding me recently i dont intend to have a relationship with her but want to know why she is doing this because it really hurts, just today she saw me and went the oppostie direcion and a few days ago she stod talking to the girl next to me but was looking at me and she did not even say a word to me or smile. What could it be that she never talks or smiles to me anymore noone knows i love her so noone coild have told her - do you think she has realised im in love with her.
Tommorw is my last day in school so i will try my best to at least say hi to her without getting embaraced. She is also a female in her late or middle 20s. She is realy beautiful i fell inlove with the first time i set eyes on her :(

I am in love with my math teacher too.. He is so hot but i still control myself and act normal, i never tell my friends about my feelings for him. I know that having a relationship with a teacher is bad so i just told to myself that this is just a crush and i know that i will find a perfect guy for me in the future

I know this feeling all too well. My French teacher is so handsome, I just can't help myself from staring sometimes. He has these beautiful light blue eyes that remind me of an endless flowing ocean.
It hurts to be honest. I turned seventeen a few months ago. We are very close, we have more if a friendship rather than a student teacher relationship. He's 35, not married, and he doesn't have a partner. He usually catches my gaze in class and smiles back. However, after reading the comments above, it seems that perhaps I'm a nuisance to him and he's only giving me sympathy... I don't have a father figure, I've confided in him about everything that has ever happened in my life. I even want to become a French teacher, he's inspired me that much. But it hurts now.. I feel like now I should instill some distance between us... I suppose him looking out for me and him always just happening to be there when I need his just coincidence.
I'm extremely confused, however. I feel I love him, but I know I'd just be bothering. Hm if I continue to go to him for everything... I've been so close with him for 3 years, yet he's been different lately... I do make him gifts and bake cookies, but I make sure to give gifts to other teachers so nothing seems suspicious.. He always looks so happy whenever I give him things.... But I guess it's just my imagination..
And now I'm stuck with the question, "now what?"

SHORT STORY:

I remember seeing some young weird tall guy in the hallways my junior year. We would often look at each other and give a random smile to each other in the hallways(it was awkward too) lol. He seemed like a student teacher and every time we saw each other it was like a weird vibe between us. But I never really looked into it because I didn't care at that time about guys/relationships.

1 YEAR PASSED:

My senior year, I joined choir and this instrument class, where you get to learn how to play instruments! Lol... Any who, not thinking about anything... I saw him, he ended up being my teacher. o.o it was nothing special of course because he wasn't that good looking anyway and he had this weird aurora to me. It was always there... Creepy x_x but yeah I ignored it.

1 MONTH PASSED:

I swear he cursed me... Lol xD I started to RANDOMLY look at him a different way... I started getting drawn to him... I swear he seduces girls for the fun of it -_- I'm sure most girls that know him, like him or admire him. He is a curse! Lol xD I would give details but too long. Hope you enjoyed this lame-not-even-detailed-story. Haha c:
